Andy Reid got depantsed in the Super Bowl by Bruce Arians.
Bruce Fucking Arians and Tom Fucking Brady.
Well, you see, Andy Reid is an offensive genius, and how dare we question Andy Reid's genius in not running the ball and not utilizing the screen pass in the face of an epically brutal pass rush, a patchwork offensive line and a QB with a hurt toe?
How dare we question his geniusness?

Oh, and Spags? The "great Brady Killer"? They had his defense figured out by the 2nd quarter and he couldn't adjust it. He was Bob Sutton Jr. [Reply]
I think a big part of Andy's problem late in his time in Philly was that he was doing too much.
IIRC he was doing GM duties as well as being the HC.
Back on point, you guys need to be going after another coach who really shit the bed on Thursday.
Not Reid.
Not Sutton.
Toub. ST's was a disaster. Nobody back blocking for DAT against a horrid Broncos ST's, a near blocked punt and what seemed like a penalty on every goddamn ST's play. [Reply]

The whole coaching staff should be held accountable...but Sutton didn't shit the bed like Reid did. [Reply]

Exactly - the offense IS talented. Just not in the way Reid wants.
I keep comparing them to the 1999 Ravens, and Smith to Maclin/Kelce is a hell of a lot more explosive than Dilfer to Sharpe/Stokely...and Charles/Davis/West is possibly a better RB combo than Lewis/Priest at that time.
Anyway, point is, a smart coach knows what he has...and what he doesn't have. [Reply]
Last night told you everything you need to know about Reid...zero adjustments, STILL with the ridiculously bad clock management and game awareness, and a constant deer in the headlights look on his face. [Reply]

Reid's offense is great when the QB has no problem throwing it deep occasionally. Smith unlike Vick or McNabb can't or won't do it. That is one problem.
The other problem is that Reid is too loyal and won't fire or bench people when it needs to happen. So Sutton needs to go but that won't happen. Smith needs to be benched but that won't happen either. [Reply]

So Reid would be a good coach with a better QB and DC??
Stupid defensive coaching. We don't have the secondary to play man press every fucking down. We had a safety trying to press man last night. thats insane
