Chiefs WR Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, who suffered a dislocation of his sternoclavicular shoulder joint Saturday night, was discharged from a Jacksonville-area hospital this morning and now has been cleared to return to Kansas City.
#Chiefs WR Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is expected to miss four to six weeks with the sternoclavicular injury he suffered, per multiple sources. Opening night is three weeks from this Thursday night.
Sources: The #Chiefs are placing WR Marquise "Hollywood" Brown on IR, and he will undergo surgery to repair his dislocated SC joint. After multiple imaging studies, it was determined that, although Hollywood felt better, his injury was not healing correctly. Without corrective… pic.twitter.com/xtRRMvmseq
Andy Reid said Hollywood Brown is “ahead of schedule” and attacking his rehab, but he wouldn’t commit to a certainty of seeing him this season. Called him “a relentless worker.”
DeAndre Hopkins has 11 regular season games to get up to get fully comfortable within the #chiefs offense and with Patrick Mahomes. By the time the postseason arrives, I'm told there is a real chance Hollywood Brown could return. Which would make KC's it's most complete at the…

I guess, but only field goals yesterday when our 1’s were playing their 2’s. Need to finish drives. And yes I realize it’s preseason, but why even play your starters if you’re not gonna play it like a regular season game? [Reply]

Getting the new holder / punter some work I guess.. Timing is important to the place kicking operation … [Reply]

Agree. And if you think about it, our #1's haven't scored a touchdown all preseason. I know its a small sample size. Id just would have liked to have seen them get 6 once, instead of having nice drives that stalled. [Reply]

It's been my opinion that Andy always plays his cards close to the vest in preseason. I wouldn't be too concerned about it. [Reply]

If you've watched any of the games at all, you've likely noticed that we're running stuff that we have likely never run before. Andy is clearly experimenting with the playbook while he works to evaluate the talent on the roster, which makes a lot of sense. If we score, great. If not, I doubt Andy gives a ****. [Reply]

LOL. TEX gonna TEX.
"And if you think about it...."
I don't even know what to say. Will you ever transcend being miserable and pessimistic? You're at this level during the preseason? [Reply]
Do we want to hold off on bitching about how our Ws in the regular season aren't in blowout fashion like the Ravens? Or should we get that bitching in now so we can practice it? [Reply]

We've lost two straight preseason games. PANEK! [Reply]
1st string offense has had 3 drives and scored on all 3. Yes, TD's would have been preferable, but.....I dunno they moved the ball pretty much at will. [Reply]

Locked On reported it, 41 is the Mic reported it. Both said that they had seen multiple sources talking about it.
The "report" was started by Chris Clark and it's nothing but bs because he doesn't like Ross. No serious KC reporter has reported it. Guys like Pete Sweeney, Nate Taylor, Aaron Ladd etc have all praised Ross and the guy has been running with the first team offense for a while. Plus he came onto the field early on Saturday and the route he ran drew three defenders and allowed Worthy to get free to score the TD. So clearly Andy trusts him. [Reply]

Nate Taylor literally said 2 weeks ago that Ross was not running routes correctly or knowing where to be. [Reply]
