Not a whole lot happening really when we're debating the number of pass attempts per game and point differentials as to how they relate to defensive guys getting sacks. [Reply]

Personally I'm twiddling my thumbs until we get to NE... [Reply]

So it would appear that Von has an ever-so-slight advantage in numbers against common opponents while, once again, being placed in a much more favorable position to do so. Remember you held double digit leads on both the 49ers and Chargers for much of each game.
I'll take Houston.
Yes, I'm talking about Long. When your best OL goes down, you have to slide protections and play schemes that take focus away from other areas to protect the area with a newly created hole.
I do admit that Houston is playing just about as well as Von this season. This represents a huge improvement for Houston based on his past seasons. [Reply]
Well in that case I could make another argument for Houston against Von. With Miller having Ware, who's been a more productive pass rusher than Hali, on the other side it creates more 1-on-1s and holes for Miller to exploit.
I'll take a draw for now, though. By season's end I'll having you sporting a Houston jersey. [Reply]

Aside from Von, the Broncos have 14 sacks.
Aside from Houston, the Chiefs have... 14 sacks.
I'm not sure the "other pass-rushing talent is drawing attention away from Von" argument works. [Reply]
