Gonna be honest - if there is no stipulation that Brown has to wear a specific helmet in his contract, and no specific language that might cover such a thing, the player's union and his lawyer could probably get his way to prevail here.
It would depend on the language in the contract I'm sure. There's bound to be something in there about player safety. [Reply]

That's a tightrope over a shark tank, IMO.
If they succumb to Brown's blackmail, what do they say to the CTE Protection advocates? If they don't, what do they tell the Faiders and Steelers to do with Brown's contract and the trade compensation?
It makes for a great story that goes nowhere fast if Brown prevails and lands on his stumps.
