I think the kid is doing fine. He actually is getting better and I loved his presser getting tips and such from both Hopkins as well as Hollywood. This is a GREAT situation for him. He will only get better - glad we drafted him! :-)

I think it's ok to point out when a rookie is def struggling and then when he seems to be turning the corner.

He and Rice seemed to have turned the corner at very similar times during their rookie season.

The maddening part is it's almost as if you hadn't just been exposed to horrific WR play within the past calendar year when you went unhinged. Like you didn't watch MVS drops or Skyy being totally worthless and invisible or Toney...well... everything Toney. Fuck man, you experienced multiple games last year where the Chiefs lost DIRECTLY because of boneheaded shit Toney did and you blow your gasket over a 21-year old rookie not quite sticking the landing on one catch?

Worthy has yet to turn any on target Mahomes throws into interceptions. He's actually scoring TDs, and made a handful of impressive plays that showed off his elite speed and downfield tracking ability. Did I mention he's a goddamn 21 year old rookie who has a fuckton of dangerous potential to light vaginas on fire in this league?

Just because someone doesn't have on rose colored glasses all year doesn't make them negative.

I said all day that Pat played his best game of the season regardless of stats.

I think Worthy is turning the corner much like Rice did about this time last year.

I think it's ok not to glaze the players every week like YOU DO, and actually be objective.

Worthy still has some stuff that he has to grow into like situational awareness on the field, which at times is not great. But I think he will.

I actually love the kid and I think he's gonna be a baller. Instead of folding from his earlier struggles he's def grown as the season went on.

What's wrong with this kind of take?
