These guys seem to be getting better at expecting throws coming from absolutely anywhere. [Reply]

The safety looks like he could have gotten over to Conley in time to break it up. Also, I think Mahomes rightly trusted Kelce over Conley in this situation. [Reply]

No shit. He's got the Gonzales "soft mitts" working on that one. [Reply]
Still thinking about how beautiful that opening drive was.
First play to Hill. Second to Kelce. Third to Watkins. Run it in.
It was like watching the 99 Rams toy with defenses with Bruce, Holt, Az and Faulk.
I bet Reid drew it up so the primary target on the first three plays was three different guys, all running routes designed to beat Cover 2, and probably in tandem with what was run on the previous play.

I am not saying he did anything wrong. It was likely his first read and it was open so no need to do anything else. But it’s so neat that four guys went towards Hill, including the guy on Conley. It just shows how good this offense is. There is no way the safety would have gotten there. [Reply]

We are a symphony.
The first throw to Tyreek set a very strong tone. That was a damn rocket in the snow.
Meanwhile, on the Colts first drive we saw Luck throw a really weak-armed ball low in the dirt and dropped by his receiver on 3rd down. [Reply]

If Smith was the QB, maybe. There's no chance he would have gotten there with Mahomes' arm [Reply]
