Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

to be fair, it would be more like 5-6 games to tally those numbers? :-) [Reply]
The Chiefs would rather roll with a QB who put an entire fucking team on his back rather than the journeyman game manager who can't make chicken salad with the mighty weapons provided him over the course of four seasons?
The Chiefs would rather roll with a QB who put an entire ****ing team on his back rather than the journeyman game manager who can't make chicken salad with the mighty weapons provided him over the course of four seasons?

“He has the ability to work with different types of quarterbacks. He’s going to build around his quarterback and create his offense around his talent. With Andy, it’s not what’s worked for him when he’s had different players over the years. It’s what will work with the quarterback he has now."

It's true. yet it's also true that not all positions are weighted equally. It's a lot easier to win with a terrible #2 CB vs a terrible QB. It's a lot easier to win with terrible middle relief pitchers vs. terrible starting pitchers.
Starting pitchers can help cover for a lineup of 9 poor hitters. Yes those hitters need to score at some point, but not as much because that SP has covered for them. [Reply]
