I think Reid mentioned that Mahomes arm got hit on the play and that's why it was underthrown. I don't remember seeing PM's arm getting hit though [Reply]

Either way i'm fine with it, he was going for it all near the end of the half or game like half or more of his picks this year. Just needed a little more Tyreek mustard to get it done. [Reply]

Just reviewed the All-22 and Wally is right.
Jeff Allen's man (can't see the #) got through just enough to stick out his hand and touch Mahomes' arm as he threw. Good effort by the d-lineman, actually.
I didn't see it at the time, either. But I can now confirm that Wally watches tape.

Nice I didn't catch that but i'm sure if it doesn't get hit then it's a probable TD fo sho. [Reply]

Impossible not to watch that play and think of the interception he threw against the Patriots last time out.
That won't happen again. He knows better now.
I'm seriously - we can beat that Pats squad by double digits and unless BB pulls out every last trick he has (or Tom Brady pulls off God Mode somehow), we absolutely should.
The Chiefs are a better overall team than the Patriots and have a QB who simply gets better every time he takes the field. This could be a monumental let-down for folks expecting a dogfight. [Reply]

He doesn't make the same mistake twice.
Also, bit surprised he bailed on that pocket.
Something in the coverage made him do that.
That’s my guess too. He misread the coverage pre-snap and did what PMVP does and improvised for an opening. I always cringe when he takes a hit but it’s do or die time and he’s playing his heart out. [Reply]
It's like we said when the Chiefs traded Alex. You start Mahomes for the playoffs when things go wrong. That's when Alex runs out of bounds and we get bounced from the playoffs. [Reply]
