Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
"Patrick Mahomes is on his way to shattering every record. Andy Reid has become the Mike D'Antoni of the NFL and Mahomes is on his way to becoming the Steve Nash/James Harden of this offense." — @RealSkipBaylesspic.twitter.com/TXwP5jcQXD
A couple days ago Shannon had him on the ropes when Skip was blathering about how he thinks Dak and Tom are these brilliant team leaders. Shannon asked him, "So-ba what-ba about-ba Mahomes-ba?" and Skip said Andy Reid was actually the real leader of all those wins and production, not Mahomes.
Shannon was too stupid to ask Skip how or why he knew this to be true. But when Skip said it, he was clearly firing that off from a defensive position. Making shit up because he had to. [Reply]
What's funny is every sports show has spoken about Pat literally every single day this week...with the main discussion being if he can be the goat or not!!...LOL that should tell us all we need to know yall :-) .
What I'm thinking about is what will Pat be like when he's seen every single defense out there and possibly gets to a point where he can consistently audible and call his own plays ala Manning? SMH it's scary what Pat could potentially be...utterly scary. [Reply]

What is it about these Pats folks getting so sensitive because people are starting to believe that he could go on to be better than Brady? And Cris Carter is a joke because when Chris Broussard said Pat could be the GOAT HERE before the season started, he wasn't disagreeing. But every-time Mangini is in the building his attitude about Pat changes. I also remember him saying several times how he's a friend of the Krafts and how he spoke to Brady on facetime so maybe Carter is just toeing the party line when he's around his Pats friends :-) .
And lastly Nick was brilliant in his clapbacks too!!!..salute to our fellow Chief.
:-) How can you even take this guy seriously when his big slam against Mahomes is that he did not throw TD's against the Pats in the First half of games- completely ignoring that he torched them the second half in both games. Fucking retarded.
Tom Brady won all the rings- not his team folks!! Tom Did it by himself with no help. Tom and Tom alone. And since Mahomes has not gone to 9 Superbowls in his first 20 games- he sucks. :-) [Reply]

GOAT
Tuck Rule - miracle
Don't remember - but probably at least one dropped INT or penalty that would have ended the season
Don't remember - same
Malcom Butler - miracle
Matt Ryan taking the sack/dumbass coach calling slow developing 7 step drop - miracle
Dee Ford offsides - once again bailed out by a penalty at the exact perfect moment which had no impact on the play

It just doesn't ****ing matter because Patrick Mahomes defies reason.
The bigger issue would be a major injury for him. He dodged the bullet with the ankle in Jacksonville, but not out of the woods with a ton of games still left on the schedule. [Reply]
It's fascinating the plays that impact games. Watkins drop (a tough catch) on 3rd and 10 w/ 10:55 left in the 4th Q and KC up 30-19.
If he catches it, KC is almost in FG range and runs another couple minutes off the clock, and the whole narrative around this game changes. pic.twitter.com/bpPXo54LIv
They never showed a reply on this during the game - I kind of assumed Mahomes threw it super low given he was on the run. Nope - pretty much perfectly placed.
This and Robinson's drop in the end zone which wouldn't have counted anyway might have been his two best throws of the game. [Reply]

Geez. That was a pretty bad drop by Sammy. The camera angle on TV made it look like a tougher catch. Was very catchable, especially for a $16m WR. [Reply]
