I’m sure the NBA doesn’t care but the Celtics’ analytics based offensive strategy of just jacking threes on every possession is gonna lead other teams to follow them and take almost all variety out of basketball long-term.
There may come a time they want to make 3PTs more difficult somehow. [Reply]

Sounds like the old Golden State strategy for many years. [Reply]

What specifically do you want them to do? Lol [Reply]
Ugh, between Minnesota and Dallas we’ve seen some really underwhelming performances from the 2nd guy. Kyrie is seeing enough open looks to not have 2 night like this for a player with his talent [Reply]

Yup, he could've at least hit that 3 and kept them alive. [Reply]
I think we could see something much like the change that happened in baseball over the past 20 years (where, in the quest for more power/HRs from management, the game has become much different with far more swing and miss/less balls in play).
There’s going to come a time where every team in the league plays exactly like Boston and it’s not that far off. [Reply]
This game might have been closer if Dallas didn't have that dumb turnover at halfcourt right after they cut it to 8 and got a stop. Boston stole it and hit a 3 and that pretty much ended it [Reply]
