Seems to me like you’re backtracking because you clearly were acting like those preseason games meant something.
They don't mean a whole lot but it just helped show that the Joseph era started off pretty well, and that he might not be as clueless as everyone portrays him to be. [Reply]

You wish. Keesum and McMahon might.......maybe could have helped put another notch or 2 in the win column. But they still wouldn't have won the division. You are delusional. [Reply]

You’re contradicting yourself big time here. There’s no way around it.
We shouldn’t be excited about Mahomes making some elite throws in his first regular season start, with backups, and going against a good amount of starters throughout the game? Coming back on the field to lead his team on a game winning drive, with Miller and Barrett breathing down his neck.
But you get to use preseason games as a positive for a coach that was absolute dog shit in the regular season and clearly lost his team? Couldnt even get his guys up for a game where they could’ve sent a message to the opposing rookie QB on a rival team and ended a losing streak? [Reply]

His season as a whole shows that he is as cluless as everyone thinks. The guy is horrible. Apparently, according to you, he can't even motivate his team to put up an effort at home against a division rivals who has already won 4 straight games against his team. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. [Reply]

Vance Joseph got blown out more than the Browns and they were starting a rookie QB.
Vance Joseph is Herm Edwards and no amount of homer garbage that you spew will replace the fact that your team was terrible last season and doesn’t look to be much better. [Reply]

The 4 preseason games were accompanied by a 3-1 start in the regular season. I wasn't using preseason games alone to justify VJ.
A lot of what happened last year wasn't all VJ's fault. The QB's and the OL fell off a cliff after the bye and the offense just wouldn't stop turning the ball over. VJ tried switching QB's and giving guys like Stephenson and Billy Turner a shot at RT, but nothing worked. Then the ST's fell apart... Maybe VJ stuck with McKenzie too long, but McKenzie was drafted specifically to be our returner so he gave him a long leash hoping he'd dig himself out of the slump he was in.
VJ was a defensive coach, and he let his OC handle the offense and the STC handle the ST's. VJ's side of the ball did more than enough to win games. [Reply]
We told you those 2 cheap pile high early home games are auto wins....even for a turd team and coach. Simply not fair. Many of us predicted you to start that way...and then collapse. We told you exactly how the season would be before it started. [Reply]

Denver has a good enough roster to make the playoffs next year, if VJ can't get them there he should be gone. Maybe Kubiak will feel energized after the two year coaching hiatus... [Reply]
