Some fun here. Edwards-Helaire rushed for 1,415 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior .. all-purpose yards -- receiving (55 receptions, 453 yards) and kick returner (KEY) 10 returns, 214 yards pic.twitter.com/3Duq1jjy6J
Holy offense Bat Man. I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He is best Rb in the draft. Watkins and Hill deep. Kelce in the middle. And Edwards-Helaire underneath. Good Luck defenses.
Brett Veach told Andy Reid to watch some Clyde Edwards-Helaire film and told Reid you’ll see Brian Westbrook. Reid watched. Then got back to Veach and said he’s better than Westbrook.

Why would we want to pay for that when there’s so many other positions that need filled? It isn’t the 90’s anymore. The best teams run RbbC. [Reply]

There were plenty available when we drafted CEH. [Reply]

So they took the wrong spot back. That doesn’t mean they need a bell cow. They just need a different spot back if CEH isn’t the guy. Damien Williams was really good in this offense.
We don’t need a Henry or someone like that. It’s superfluous and a waste of salary cap.
But I’m sure watching Kareem Hunt on Sunday got all the Camaroheads fired up about it again and we will be hearing about it all season. [Reply]

Pay for it? I don't want to pay top dollar for one at all. I'm all for drafting a running back often in later rounds . We do that we'll find one. My point was simply that if we had a solid every down RB, the offense would be unstoppable. I don't think CHS is good enough. I never liked that pick. Why are we paying him maybe a better question? I really think the guys they wanted most went ahead of their pick. It became who is left they think deserves a first-round pick. I also think no one came forward for a trade out of the 1st round. So they picked an RB may be the wrong one maybe not and Clyde is a late bloomer. Also as the story goes the Chiefs asked Patrick what back he preferred. If they did do that maybe don't and trust the well paid scouts you have on staff. [Reply]
CEH looked slow on Sunday… which is supported by his 3.1 YPC average.
Maybe there are perfectly legit reasons for that… he’s not 100% from his preseason ankle injury, the offensive line still being new, etc., but he had no explosiveness on Sunday. [Reply]
