The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

I meant I was just trolling with my post, but I secretly was too because I had a bet with someone on another board that KC would finish ahead of Oakland and he had the tiebreaker.
It was good to see Tony beat the all time reception fecord for a TE.
Wish he coulf have broken his single season record.
Can't believe we had yet another RB go down.
I like Boomer.
Welbourne sucked.
Brodie didn't look too hot either.
Jared Allen is ALWAYS worth watching.
Did anyone else lose sound for awhile during the game?

This was well over 10 yrs ago, it was late on a Sunday and I did find one place on the main street in town but it was closed. Never saw any indication of a Casey's. For many years there wasn't really anyplace to stop (that I knew of) between Rock Port and Glenwood. Now there's a big Sapp Bros Truck Stop somewhere down around there.

The Casey's has been there since before I was born, although several years ago it was closed for awhile while they built a new one (maybe 2002?).
Sapp's and two or three other stations are at the Gawd Damned Nebraska City exit. You're right though, prior to Sapps there was really no convenient place between Glenwood and Rock Port.

I didn't spend much time looking, as I mentioned it was late on a Sunday, I didn't see anyone around anywhere and I started having one of those "Children of the Corn" moments, so I just headed back down the road.

I lost sound for a while, but it was because I took a nap during the game. That's what I'm down to now. At least I get to watch some good football for the next few weeks.
