The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

That's the most likely road to the most home playoff games [Reply]
Think Im rooting for the scenario that results in #7 Bills @ #2 Dolphins wildcard weekend. Let those two teams kick the crap out of eachother two weeks in a row. Hard to get up off the mat after that. Also dont see the Dolphins winning that game two weeks in a row would give us the divisional round game in Arrowhead.
Would be hilarious to see the Bills miss the playoffs tho [Reply]
I'd be really interested in a Browns/Ravens match up... it's hard to argue neither could have a good postseason given their resumes, yet they're still firmly in "I'll believe it when I see it" territory.
And it would be hilarious to watch the Ravens lose in the divisional again, and the Browns could probably do it. [Reply]

Pre Flacco there is no way Cleveland wins. Their defense is good but their QB situation was beyond bad. With him being above serviceable they are a dangerous team for a team like Baltimore. [Reply]

The Dolphins designed their stadium so that the visitors would bake in the sun while their bench is in the shade.
And they still only beat the Bills by 2 points.. The Bills have basically won the last 99 games out of 100.
And the Dolphins have played 4 last place teams at home and the only team with a winning record was the Cowboys who are 3-5 on the road.... their home SoS is like .375 including the Cowboys and .333 after that.
They've been brutalized on the road because those are the only decent teams they've played all season (besides the Cowboys, if that's what they're going to hang their hat on).
I'm not putting it past the Bills to fuck it up, but based on a whole lot of evidence, it won't be because the Dolphins are magically a good team at home against other good teams. [Reply]

has that kind of scenario ever happened before?
I was wondering this myself, but surely it has happened before with the way the division winners are rewarded and also there's an extra playoff spot now that didn't exist before, so you're talking about going from a 2-8 nowadays when prior to that going from 2-7 would've eliminated you.
There has to be another team that would've either won their division or missed the 7 seed.
Anybody? [Reply]
