Cowardice the likes of which I've never seen.
Again, you're speaking about injuries as if they're absolute. Completely false narrative. [Reply]

You're confusing whether someone can play with whether they should. [Reply]
Nobody here is scared of not getting the one seed. Acknowledging the fact that it will be easier to win it all with one less playoff game is not fear. It's practical.
The fear is that somehow Mahomes is definitely going to miss the playoffs if he plays. [Reply]

Uhh, no, I'm pointing out that both Reid and Mahomes were ready for him to finish the game out against the Browns if it was necessary. He'll be playing Saturday. [Reply]

Worst case Mahomes gets a worse sprain than now (mild) and they shut him down for 3 weeks after Saturday to rest for the playoffs.
Have you seen Andy doing any of this yet this season? [Reply]

There's a lot more wrong with Pat right now than just his ankle, and it simply amazes me how many people refuse to fucking see that. Stevie Wonder could see it. I think he seriously needs a week off to get his head on straight. [Reply]

Mahomes played through a more serious injury than this throughout the entire ‘22 postseason. What are we talking about here? [Reply]

Shut Mahomes down for the rest of the season obviously. Put him on IR. He could get hurt on any play and injure his ankle further. Roll with Wentz through the end of the season and the playoffs

Yup! If he plays and injures it again he'll have three weeks to heal before we play a playoff game but right now we need to do all we can to beat Houston this week at Arrowhead. If we lose this week we have no room for error the next two weeks to get HFA. This is the biggest game to date for the 2024 season. [Reply]

Vegas doesn't think so right now and they aren't exactly in the business of losing money.
My expectation is that Wentz will be the starting QB, which is the only prudent choice for this organization given that their entire season hinges on Mahomes being healthy a month from now. [Reply]

If Humphries and Brown are going to come in and actually contribute to a Super Bowl run, they need reps.
If they aren't, then the personnel isn't changing. No amount of rest is going to fix it if that's the case.
The only worry right now I'm a his ankle. And it's not severe.
He can have a rest with the rest of the team after they see up the #1 seed. [Reply]
