How about using other potential options as a baseline? Much rather trade for someone better than sign MVS because you don't want to give up some late round pick. So I'd rather compare him to guys like Johnson, Hopkins, etc. [Reply]

Isn't MVS free to the highest bidder? He catches as well if not better than Sky Moore. He's faster and can stretch the field better than Sky Moore. He knows the system better than Sky Moore. It's time to move on from Sky Moore.... [Reply]

The key moments he has had in the playoffs were way more valuable than putting up big stats individually and the team losing. [Reply]
I'm indifferent to bringing him back. He did not live up to the contract the Chiefs gave him other than a couple clutch plays in the playoffs which is why they needed to move on. However if he's coming back cheap it's not bad insurance since he already knows the system. [Reply]

The 4 Playoff games I mentioned were decided by razor thin margins. One play here or there to win or lose. MVS made big time plays in all 4 games to help win them. I consider that to be very productive. [Reply]

Then in the next three games he literally caught 7 out of 9 targets. The numbers weren't great but he caught most of his targets.
Then he caught the two targets he had vs the Jags, got injured vs the Bengals and then played a huge role in winning the superbowl by constantly moving the chains with 7 catches from 9 targets and 53 yards.
He was good all through the season.
I thought I remembered things differently. Yeah, JJSS had a pair of good games after the JAX game. But after that, he's a 2 or 3 catch/25-35 yd receiver, 0 TDs. He catches just 3 balls in the playoffs, no TDs, until the SB when he finally wakes up and has another good game. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/game.../nfl/year/2022
Bottom line, JJSS is a better than NFL average WR, nothing more. With bad knees.
And it's two years later, so we aren't even getting that 'prime' version of JJSS now. We're getting whatever is left of his knees. A version that not even NE was interested in keeping around.
But that's how desperate we are at WR. JuJu, unrosterable by most, if not the entire league, is the best WR on the Chiefs roster.
MVS is trash.
Veach needs to get us any WR better than JuJu. That's a big pool. [Reply]

Lol your point got disproven so now you resort to the frivolous "his knees won't hold up" excuse which is another feeble line that has no merit? He was very good for us last time and has started well this season. Why not accept that instead of ridiculing him? Smh l
If we get a new guy then great. If only MVS returns then fine. If nothing happens then I'll keep faith that the club know what they're doing. [Reply]
