Look at what they’re doing to the best player in the game.
His own teammates are consistently sabotaging him on a weekly basis.
And now he’s finally emotionally coming unglued.
Just a complete embarrassment all the way around.
Total malpractice and an absolute waste of your biggest investment.
If Veach and Reid had any balls they would cut Toney tonight as he has now single handedly cost us not one but TWO games. I wouldn’t blame Pat if he went scorched earth in his presser. Someone has to hold these clowns accountable and if the FO and coaching staff won’t then maybe he should.
Either way this is unacceptable and shameful. [Reply]

We have Ferrell under contract at DT next year. That's it.
Wanya Morris doesn't give me great vibes as a capable long-term option at LT. Maybe a swing reserve or a really good OG.
You're also losing two starting LBs and one of the best CBs in the game.
There's alot more pieces to the puzzle than stacking talent at WR. Should it be a priority? Absolutely. It has to be. But you still need two DTs of starting quality, a LB, and probably a LT. It can be done with the 46-ish million Veach will have, but he's going to have to be very calculated. This is a key offseason that will set the next few years in motion.
I don't think Spags cares about DT's. If you look at what he is moving towards it's 4 DE's moving around on passing downs.
So if you want versatility as a true DT we need to go looking for the next Suh ring chaser or something like that as DT for the roster and get a few cheap fat guys as bargains for the run game.
Sneed, either you keep him or its tag and trade to get a #1 WR.
Linebackers? Yeah, we just need to bargain shop there and maybe hit on a later round pick.
Tackle they are stuck. You paid Taylor 20 million so what do we do at LT? It's probably bring in another athletic draft pick at LT and have them compete.
We can't afford to pay two guys at tackle and Thuney. [Reply]

Out of that group. Taylor is the worst. Boy, what a colossal mistake that was. :-) [Reply]

I think what he’s saying is we’re not going to magically come up with a wr formula that’s gonna work. Lean on the running game and quick passing game, and hope that’s enough for our defense to win us games. It’ll be much easier to snuff out but to make the intermediate or downfield passing game does nothing but put mahomes at risk [Reply]

It would be nice if we had a running game. That would help the passing game out more than anything. Defenses aren't scared whatsoever of the Chiefs running the ball. It feels like defenses know exactly what plays we're running this year. Coaching and playcalling has been atrocious to say the least. [Reply]

Who was that supposed to be last year?
Meyers or Thielen maybe but Thielen was 33 and Meyers topped out at what, 800 yards in a season? I didn't expect this team to take on Thielen at that age. Meyers hasn't been all-world even if he might have improved this team.
Post-Taylor signing maybe you can say Hopkins and that is probably the only reasonable bitch. You probably try to make that fit somehow.
Beckham has been a broke dick and no way we were signing him for 15m. I don't think it was unreasonable to expect James to match his 500 yards of production but that just didn't happen.
All-in-all it wasn't a great year to make a big FA splash so I think operating in hindsight isn't all it's cracked up to be either.
There is more fruit on the tree in FA this year and it's a talented draft class. Veach will address it, no doubt. [Reply]

If you trade Tyreek Hill then it’s on you to figure it out.
And if the plan was draft and develop you can’t draft 1 guy a year after you trade him.
If it’s sign toolbox WRs at value then you need to sign guys and do that.
Honestly, have no idea what the plan was because they didn’t seriously draft or sign guys. [Reply]
