Nzoner's Game Room>*****The Nazeeh Johnson Thread*****

More to come!

Nazeeh Johnson was drafted with pick 259 of round 7 in the 2022 draft class. He scored a 9.09 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 80 out of 868 FS from 1987 to 2022. https://t.co/CCvkv5wDRX #RAS #Chiefs pic.twitter.com/XV0mCTt2bk

Wha?

Wanya wasn't bad this game. In fact, he looked better at RT than he had at any point at LT.

go look at the pass play cut-up.

Now, Nazeeh was fuckin' terrible. On that we agree.

I don't understand what they ever saw in this kid. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, but he does not belong on an NFL field even in spot duty.

He played that many snaps because he's a clear 3rd stringer. He's not going to get a bunch of snaps in the playoffs.

Yeah - The Nazeeh Johnson experiment becomes less and less explicable the more we see of it.

How was this guy ever CB2 on the depth chart?

On a defense fielding almost entirely scrubs, he stood out for how being the scrubbiest of the lot.

I think he was played a lot because of the Watson injury and someone has to eat those snaps thru 17 games. Hopefully he won’t see much time in the postseason

Yeah never made sense because Josh Williams at his absolute worst wasn't as bad as Johnson.

Because they really liked what they saw from Nazeeh early on and Josh was making a lot of mistakes.

It feels like after Watson got hurt they wanted to see what they had. Nazeeh didn’t work out but I do like Roland-Wallace quite a bit

The RAS score is high, and we know how much they lean into that. Probably made some flash plays in practice and they wanted to give him a shot, it's worked with so many other guys.

Definitely a miss with him, he is utterly worthless.

Can we move this to the "pink slip" thread please.

Not a single "mistake" by Williams has been anywhere near as bad as what Nazeeh consistently puts on tape. Spags was just being stubborn by continuing to put Johnson out there and it cost us against the Bills and hurt the defense against Denver, Carolina and the Raiders. No way he should take any snaps in the playoffs.

It makes me wonder how much the injury impacted his abilities.

He was so fucking terrible it really makes you feel better about some of the more difficult games we played this year. After I witnessed that shit show he put forth yesterday I said to myself "damn it really is a miracle we didn't drop a couple of games when this guy was playing so many snaps". I mean he was SUCH a liability it's hard to fathom how we ever got the defense off the field. Makes me feel a heck of a lot better about giving up all of those third and longs this year. I'd love to go back and see how many of those were his responsibility now.

A LOT.

Teams would come out and just go "ok there he is" and it was instant completions.
