I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.
KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.
One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future. [Reply]

MANHATTAN, Kan. | Luis Colon, a senior center on the Kansas State basketball team, was arrested Monday for failing to appear in court.
He was to appear in court for a traffic violation he received for speeding and failing to yield. Colon was later released on bond.
Colon has not played this season after averaging 4.4 points and 4.7 rebounds for the Wildcats a year ago. He missed the first two games of the season because of a hand injury and the last three because of what K-State coach Frank Martin said last week was an unspecified off-court issue. Martin said Tuesday that the arrest was unconnected to the issue that has kept Colon from playing.
“Luis’ competition status remains unchanged,” Martin said in a statement. “In an unrelated incident, Luis was arrested Monday for an unpaid traffic violation that has since been resolved, and any disciplinary action deemed necessary will be handled internally.” [Reply]
