If the ball hits an OL first, it apparently can't be intentional grounding. It is only illegal touching 5 yard penalty replay the down. Which is a much milder penalty.

Agreed. Garrett deserves to be playing for a better team/organization. Kind of like how Barry Sanders languished on all those terrible DET teams his entire career. Always loved watching him play when I got the chance, but hated that he never played for a contending team. Grew to actively hate the Detroit Lions organization/ownership, because it was pretty obvious they wre never going to surround him with a good enough team to really do anything in the playoffs, and wished he'd get traded to a better team. I will say that the game was far more entertaining that I originally thought it would be. CLE really came to play. And the weather was exactly what they needed. Sauce for the goose. Tip of the hat to the Browns for knocking off the fraudulent Steelers, and for making it fun to watch at the same time. [Reply]
