As far as the episode, there is continuously more humor than I anticipated. And I won't lie, I was rooting for the 10 year old that waxed that dude. I'm here for that.
The incest bothered me more than the pedo stuff.
It was kind of weird that Rheahnyra and Alicent were magically fiends again with no explanation at all.
It is interesting that Viserys is finding strength and becoming the better leader as his body rots. He's about a million times more compelling today than he was the first couple episodes.
I'm in. All the way in. At least to the point I'll give them the rope to hang themselves. [Reply]
Seems like they are going to do blood and cheese in earnest. Question for the other book readers, will this have as big of a reaction as the red wedding due to its violence or not due to its viewership/only being its first season?
Good ass episode. They really did a nice job of building the tension. And god forbid have some subtlety. Even though the dress thing was a bit bash over the head, but whatever. It was good.
Spoiler!
And I have to feel bad for Viserys. Early on he was bumbling a bit. But here he is making sound decisions, being a leader, doing the right shit, and every time he does, it goes to shit.
But it's getting interesting. The back a forth between houses is taking shape and building up conflict.
Didn't read the book. Don' know how it's going to go, but it is an interesting story.
I still can't get over how bad the carriages look though. Takes me out of it every time. [Reply]
