I was right in the center of the nut sack. Marble to quarter size hail winds blowing it sideways. I am surprised the power didn't go out. [Reply]
3/24 1pm: Scattered severe storms capable of large hail, damaging gusts, and a few tornadoes are possible across the central/southern Plains into this evening. Greatest risk is over south-central KS and northwest OK. Critical fire-weather also expected over the southern Plains. pic.twitter.com/zVEYDzduse
Nothing but a lot of wind here in NC Kansas thus far, but it is Kansas, and dysfunctional weather should be part of the motto for the state. I hope the expected two nights of freezing temperatures don’t nip things too badly. We’ve had mostly warm weather for the past six weeks, and a freeze like this is not easy on the greenery. [Reply]
5-6 inches of wet snow and plugged up my snowblower. It is supposed to rain, so that will melt is some. South facing driveway wont hurt at all, even with clouds.
