RD 2 | PICK 63 - @Chiefs: Willie Gay LB, Miss State
Gay (4.46 40 @ 243 lbs) made our NGS day 2 standouts list with elite athleticism (99 athleticism score) for a linebacker. Suspensions (8 total games) derailed his 2019 season and his production score took a hit (53).#NFLDraftpic.twitter.com/rCpEi7X6qT

Then, of course, the thing CP never gives credit towards:
Wonderlic 10 - 6th percentile. Scores below this mark are generally considered illiterate.
Wonderlic 14 - 16th percentile. Willie Gay, Jr. who is expected to come in and immediately learn how to play the position at an NFL level, learn the defensive playbook, and start in 2020 because CP.
Wonderlic 22 - 51st percentile. Scores around this mark (20, commonly) are generally considered average intelligence.
Wonderlic 0-9 - CP's finest.
Ah, not to argue, but here's some Wonderlic facts for you:
Marcus Mariota's WL score: 33
Jameis Winston's score: 27
Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Russell Wilson all scored . . . 28
Flacco? 27
Dan Marino? 15
Methinks the Wonderlic test ain't so wonderful at predicting anything about football success.
For those that don't know, a Wonderlic test is basically a SAT. May be showing my age here. Do they still have SATs? Whatever, it has absolutely nothing to do with football. It's 50 math and reading comprehension questions timed. [Reply]
So apparently after they announced Willie, Tyrann texted Veach and said I want his number now. Dude is so excited. Veach said he will give him Tyranns number [Reply]

The fact is he’s the guy that pounded the table first and got everybody to buy in. He started the process of drafting him. This is a fact that has been confirmed by people at Texas Tech (or Mahomes people can’t remember) who have no reason to lie.
You refusing to give him credit for that is strange. Are you in competition with him or something? Do you want to prove every year that you’re smarter than the Chiefs GM? I’m not trying to be a dick, it just certainly comes off that way.
