I thought the machined edges go good with the chrome trim.
They flow well lol.
Tony at the hub cap and wheel store at 635 and Shawnee drive hooked us up.
Looks kick ass for sure.
They are having a 25% of MRP sale on Silverado's at the local Chevy dealer this weekend. Its freaking killing me to not go buy a truck, it may happen.
It probably would have happened already but due to an unfortunate motor accident the Chevy II is down right now and when its back up and running will likely have twin turbos in the near future. [Reply]

Long story short I called FITech (The company who makes the Fuel Injection set up I ordered) and told them what fuel pump I planned to use they said no problem.
Unfortunately the pump flowed more than the pressure regulator can handle and I should have been told to use an intermediate regulator.
Since I wasn't told it was necessary I obviously didnt use one, the pump over pressured the built in regulator and over fueled the system and apparently while trouble shooting the issue it filled the #3 cylinder with fuel and it hydro-locked destroying the #3 piston and bending 3 rods.
So making chicken salad out of chicken shit I decided to go with the lower compression pistons and get it ready for boost which is why i bought the FITEch system anyway. Supposed to be good up to 25psi out of the box.
Still dealing with FITech on the culpability but I dont have a warm fuzzy on that. It was simply a conversation with a tech guy who I have no idea his name afterwards. No record of the conversation etc... [Reply]

Yep I'm going ls with a 4l60, already have that,
Bed is rock fucking solid, literally the best I might have ever seen on a truck sitting in a field. Needs inner and outer rockers a windshield and dash.
Gonna go flat black, dark Windows, I've got original 15x10 ralleys. 4 6 drop, power steering and power disc brakes. Under bed tank.
Hopefully be diving it in three months, that's the goal [Reply]
In other news.. im still having bearing issues with this new motor.
Motor is coming out, 6.2 is going in... getting new springs as well, as we think my 30k mile patriot springs are worn and arent allowing valve events to happen properly giving me spiky power at top of RPM band.
End of month should be on new motor.. errrrrg [Reply]
