Year Two of the Matt Quatraro tenure. Time to take a step up this year. Active in free agency and trades this offseason. A new look pitching rotation and bullpen. Will the young players take the leap up offensively? Bobby Witt extension? New stadium? Will Vinny recover from injury? Salvy taking aim at the Royals record book? Will Cole Ragans turn into the best Royals starting pitcher since Greinke 1.0?

If only it were that simple. This will change the way pitchers attack our lineup. I agree that if you had to pick one of those 3 to miss the rest of the season, he would be the one you’d probably pick but the fact is that we just lost 33% of the guys that opposing pitchers give a shit about in our lineup. I appreciate the Royals staying relevant to the start of the Chiefs season. I'll up my pessimism for the rest of the season going forward which will greatly help the Royals chances. [Reply]

The selflessness on this board is what keeps me coming back. [Reply]
One play that should’ve been a double play with Witt and Massey playing up the middle just demolished us when erceg reached his hand for the ball. If not we probably win the game and that’s just the start of the butterfly effect with Vinny now being out and I haven’t heard anything about Ercegs hand. Just **** [Reply]

Jac is in high Single-A.
It has been done. The Angels drafted Nolan Schanuel in the first round last year (11th overall) and he was in the majors after a grand total of 22 minor league games, none above AA. He contributed right away and has stuck in the majors ever since. [Reply]
