It also probably means that they're looking for a particular type, not just anybody.
An empty uniform that runs 4.4 is still an empty uniform.
The 'deep threat' that can't catch isn't anything that moves the needle, in my opinion. We have Worthy and Hardman to run those routes, and Worthy can actually catch and track the ball.

MMDV.
But I understand your stance.
I think they're looking to do SOMETHING, I just doubt it's a blockbuster type deal. [Reply]
Skyy Moore got 33 snaps despite them playing extra TEs as much as possible, that's 33 plays where the Chiefs essentially had 4 eligible receivers. You cannot say they do not need a productive body. [Reply]

If the Bills outbid them then we didn't try very hard. As the Bills gave up what less than a 3rd rounder.
So theoretically we could of gotten him for our 3rd straight up.
If we don't have a trade in place and are just sitting on our hands. That is a huge mistake. [Reply]
If you're a team that's going to sell, you aren't worried about the Chiefs. Hell, I'd argue you're better off helping the Chiefs get better this year while taking a hit long term losing the draft pick. [Reply]

They’ve made trades at the last 2 deadlines
Maybe 3?
The teams selling at the deadline are not the same teams that don't want to deal with the Chiefs. That's more of a draft day problem. Carolina doesn't give a shit who wins the AFC. [Reply]

Good news is Diontae and Slayton both play in the NFC [Reply]

Yeah I'm sure they're just sitting on their hands. :-) [Reply]
