All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.
For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.
So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?

I found this yesterday and watched the trailer. I absolutely cannot wait to clear my TV queue and get properly into it. Looks absolutely outstanding and the reviews back that up. [Reply]
Muppets Mayhem on Disney. Some of the better comedy writing I've seen and the cameos are great. Plenty of humor for adults that finds a way to keep it kid friendly. Perfect example is an episode where the band goes on an acid like trip from 30 year old expired marshmallows. [Reply]

If you divorce yourself from the actual historical figures, it's pretty good. At least to the extent the characters became compelling. Ultimately, I ended up really giving a shit about the characters and the (historically inaccurate) story.
And the battle scenes are good. Really good. Worth the wait.
In short I came for the assling insults, stayed for the characters.
Just got to the Aethelwold blinding scene.
Fuuuuuuuuuuck.
500 people have been gored, women beheaded, I'm sure pets barbecued at some point. But man, THAT was friggen gnarly. [Reply]
I don't know if it's going to be a must watch or not, but a new series is starting next week called Stars on Mars hosted by William Shattner and has celebrities basically playing survivor in a simulated Mars environment. It's going to have NFL players in the first season. I think Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman. Not sure if it will be any good, but I think that I'll have to check out a couple of episodes and see. Unique ending. Great final season. Finale was the first recent episode that I didn’t have a couple true LOL moments but they wrapped things up well and creatively. [Reply]
