Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.

That Michter's Toasted Rye is from Fall 2017. Probably my favorite bottle I've ever had.
Upon second tasting, I'm gonna bump that Michter's up to 1A. That's just an outstanding bottle. Tempted to bump it over the Wellers, it's so close. And the scotch is actually much better going into it with the right mindset. I'll move it from #647 to solidly in fifth place.
Lots of choices in whiskey nowadays...some really good. Just finishing a Widow Jane 14 year. Been rotating through Rieger's KC Whiskey, Straight Edge Bourbon, Bowman Port wood finish, and Peerless Single Barrel. The Rieger's has really grown on me... [Reply]

It's REALLY good, but full disclosure, it's a store pick. So I can't vouch for anything you get in KC.
I was hesitant because I HATE Jack Daniels. But the guy that hooks me up at my local place let me sample it. I'm actually drinking it right now. [Reply]
