He has mild sprain. He doesn't have an increased risk for a fracture.
And again, they're going to face the best pass rushers in the AFC playoffs. If one play, in one game, can ruin the season They should be doing everything they can to play less games.

It's elementary by your own argument.
A mild sprain can become a severe sprain quite easily if you're asking that player with a mild sprain to play football while hobbling around behind a shit offensive line. [Reply]

Dude whatever. If you want to shake and shudder, go ahead.
I'm gonna enjoy watching this team get the one seed in spite of all the injuries.

I have faith in this team.
You apparently don't or you would have faith that they can win without a hobbled Mahomes against a mediocre Houston Texans squad. That kind of fear, fear of losing the #1 seed, is the real cowardice. [Reply]

Or buying a Ferrari and leaving it in the garage because it might get a rock chip driving down the highway. I suppose the comparisons are endless though.
This is literally what Mahomes is contracted - with a large reimbursement attached to it - to do. This is his job. It is one thing to sit him when the board is already set for the post season, it is quite another when seeding is still up in the air.
This is his job people, put the stupid pills down already - between yesterday and today you all have to be close to ODing. [Reply]

You’re quitting on HFA bc of a mild ankle sprain. If they win the next 2 games they get about 3.5 weeks off.
Asking any QB to win on the road again is not realistic.not even Brady did that [Reply]

Quitting? I just want them to rest Mahomes on Saturday. If they lose that game, they can then decide whether it is worth playing him against Pittsburgh while not 100%.
I still don't think the calculus changes much even in that scenario, but the benefit of having a 2 game cushion is that they can rest a hobbled Mahomes and protect him from playing 2 games in 4 days while still getting the #1 seed anyway. [Reply]
