Nzoner's Game Room>MNF DOUBLEHEADER - Titans @ Dolphins/Seahawks @ Lions
Easy 6 05:23 PM Yesterday
Tits @ Fins hot take - Levis keeps fucking up, Huntley has barely finished a cup of coffee in Miami but outperforms him at home in a gritty defensive led win

Sea @ Det, come on now we all know Detroit is getting this home win

They have to stop calling holding on every single kick return.

Can't believe another flag was thrown to stop a big gain by Seattle

"We want to encourage kick returns"

{throw flags every single return}

So the rules analyst explanation for what that wasn't forward progress was...to be polite...retarded.

Can anyone actually provide an explanation that isn't braindead? Are they saying he brought the ball back himself (voluntarily rather than forced) and as such ceded the forward progress?

Oh you have to be fucking kidding me. That's a horrible DPI call.

I think it's because he pulled the ball back on his own

Going back in time to the AFCCG against the Bengals.

Didn’t MVS stick the ball out for a first down and bring it back? He was allowed forward progress because he got the the first then protected the ball, right?

So that same logic doesn’t apply to your own goal line?

He was being pulled backwards by his leg, though.

So were they trying to say (poorly) that since his BODY was still going forward when he pulled the BALL back, then the movement of the ball backwards was clearly a volitional act?

I guess that makes sense?

I don't understand how Goff can go 18/18 for 292 and 2 TD and not have a perfect QB rating.

That was actually a damn fun game to the end. Heck of a play by Kirby Joseph there.
