It looks like I Cassel'd my other thread so spin off here we go.
Your favorite Q and any recommendations therein.
This is my first poll I have attempted and the poll options were compiled off of a couple of online lists, so be gentle use lube and don't forget the reach around. [Reply]

Oh yes, Q39 will make up for the subpar burnt ends. I promise.
They have an appetizer of bacon wrapped shrimp at Q39. Highly recommend. [Reply]

Lovely stuff. I'll pass on the shrimp because I hate fish. I know it's not BBQ but I haven't yet had wings in the US and I heard theirs are good. [Reply]

Jack Stack for wings. I don't care for bbq wings or I didn't until I had them from Jack Stack's [Reply]

I haven't yet been to Wolfepack but my buddy who judges BBQ events all over the country though it's new he raves about it. It better be as it moved into LaSala's Deli old location off 5th street in KCMO Columbus Park district. It was an Iconic old school Italian Deli. Garozzo's is in that area to if you want something not BBQ its good Italian.
I wouldn't bother with b burnt ends at Jackstack unless you enjoy the Heimlich now and again. I don't even think its cut from the point of the Brisket. Many rumors out there its doctored up chuck roast. I always liked the sausage there though. [Reply]

The highlight was the Z man - brisket was fantastic and the onion rings in the burger slapped, just a fucking quality sandwich overall. The ribs were good but not out of this world. The burnt ends were lukewarm, very fatty and had hardly any flavourful, not good. As a natural baked bean enthusiast, I did quite like the BBQ beans. The meal overall was a 7/10.
If burnt ends being too fatty is a problem, you just may not be a burnt ends kind of person. Burnt ends aren’t meant to be lean. [Reply]

Harp has moved to OP. The old Pizza Shuttle location at 135th and Quivera. Soft opening this weekend for dining room, take out orders started last week I believe.

I like fatty food because it's often more flavourful. Hence why I mentioned the flavour straight after. [Reply]

Lucky Kansans! My favorite KC BBQ when it was in Ratown. Still inconvenient for a Northlander but well worth the drive. I will wait for him to get settled in. I will check out this Wolfepack joint and am also craving some Slaps and an old standard Rosedale F the haters.
Have some new places to check out up here North also. I will also make it a point to avoid Q39 which is easy for me. I don't eat snootie I am a chef BBQ. [Reply]
Went to Q39. Fucking incredible plate of food. Had the burnt ends, sausage and brisket plate after the chicken wings to start. Burnt ends and sausage were out of this world good. Chicken wings and brisket were both great.
