But let’s talk, no trolling here.
Do you you think your O line is as good as it was the start of last season?
Personally I don’t think it is, it’s better than what you ended the season with but essentially 2 rookies and thuney is a stud but you can laugh at the browns front 4 but it is not going to be some walk in the park. They will generate pressure.
And Tampa had a great game plan, keep kelce underneath, bottle him up, get hill lined up with cb and saftey over top and let anyone else beat you. Watkins provided some relief and not sure if hardman will do it.
Browns do have 9 new starters on D but cranked up the level of speed at all spots and brought in real dbs. I think it’s going to be fun game.

Do you think the D line with swapping jones out who was IMO the best DT in the afc at end for reed is an improvement?
Like it or not the browns do have one of if not the best olines in the league.
The browns offense presents issues, they can be heavy and physical on the ground, the rbs can be used as receivers, two tight ends, and a well rounded group of wrs.

Sorry for thinking this is going to be a good game or even presenting actual arguments. I get it, you guys are homers, have a great qb but you didn’t go 17-0 and frankly there were some flaws exposed by the bucs.
The game is going to be a lot tighter than you guys expect what was my point.
Every team that beats us has the “blueprint” and has “exposed our weakness.” In 2019 it was the Colts and Texans (yes, the Texans once had “the blueprint”) now this year apparently it’s the Bucs.

This is Arrowhead. Last time Arrowhead was full was the AFCCG against the Titans. This will be the first time Arrowhead will be able to welcome the SB champs with a full throat. The #1 home field advantage in the NFL was taken away from us last year, but now it returns. It’s going to be crazy in there

:-) @ "The bucs exposed a few things".

They didn't expose a goddamn thing.

Mahomes September numbers are crazy.

Andy Reid's Chiefs have only lost one season opener, 2014 to the Titans.

Chiefs had a bad half against the Chargers on 2016 and overcame a huge win probability to come back and win in OT, but otherwise Andy Reid's training camp and offseason work really shows in the season opener.

Browns are a huge challenge in week 1 and at Ravens in week 2, but Chiefs have dominated September since 2017.

Chiefs started 5-0 in 2017 and 2018 and started 4-0 in 2019 and 2020.

I like Browns fans, they have a good team and should feel good about their chances.

But their takes on our team are just as dumb as last year. Everybody has been waiting to expose us since 2017. At least the "Mahomes only throws to wide open receivers" talk has finally died down. That was hilarious.

From what I've seen over the last 2 seasons, there is really only one technical way to beat a Mahomes-led Chiefs team...and this is leaving out unbalanced officiating (Raiders) and catastrophic injuries (SB).

Fans of other teams forget that KC trounced the Bucs earlier in the season...when Fisher went down, they were so thin at OL, they had to rotate nearly every position to compensate. It wasn't just a matter of replacing the LT...it was a domino effect.

The only way you beat KC is to get constant pressure with your front four...and no blitzing. That's it. This is why the Chargers play KC tight. It allows the defense to drop an extra defender to take out Kelce/Hill and make the rest of the offense beat them. Even then, it usually just slows them down...the SB was the only time it led to a loss.

If this line is as good as I expect they will be...which will be the best of Mahomes career, I dont know how you beat them.

The one that is particularly funny is the "double Kelce and Hill and profit" take.

1) The Patriots took that approach in 2018+, so it isn't new

2) It worked in the Super Bowl better than it ever had because of a combination of defensive personnel, the injury to Mahomes, and the offensive line injury issues/mash unit

3) The Chiefs revamped their OL and will make teams pay for dropping deep into zones and only dedicating 4-5 defenders to the box. Run game is going to break a lot of hearts.

Yeah I feel the line change was about more than just protecting Mahomes, it's also to prevent teams running out 7 or 8 people in coverage as a way to limit Mahomes.

I am sure NFL Network will replay the AFC Divisional Playoff game as the opener approaches.

Darrell Williams had some big time plays that game.

every team's fanbase has dumb takes. i dont expect the browns to win, i am more interested in how they look.

they finally have a smart coach. i expect they will look better on offense not as excited about the defense. i dont think they will have anything for KC's coach and mahomes unless Stefanski put his thinking cap on and helped the DC woods design something to try and give them trouble

Well if the Browns win I have a feeling it is because the lack of gelling by the line.

The line is the most talented line since the 90s but also three rookies starting together is a bold decision.

It shows how good they are and it is going to be cheap to keep but there is a chance there for miscommunication
