I don't believe there are plans to redshirt Marshall.
That said, I'm not sure why would would not expect Ballard to have improved between last year and this year. This staff has done nothing but coach guys up since taking over the program. Your basis on Ballard comes solely off of one game, against a good, well-coached KSU team, in his first game ever. Kid was clearly nervous in the first half and settled down pretty well. It's a game we should have won. If Ballard has to come in here and there this year, we will be just fine. [Reply]

Not necessarily. Sometimes guys can improve a lot from one year to the next in college. I can't see any other reason why the coaching staff would have him as #2. I guess unless the young guys just aren't ready yet. :-) [Reply]
What are the chances the tickets for the ISU game come down? Right now with the season ticket presale, I can roughly get upper level tickets for anywhere from $109 - $140 per ticket.
Do we think they will come down in price as we get closer to the games or do we think this is as low as they get? [Reply]

Iowa State is the one I'd be most worried about with how well those people travel to KC. [Reply]

It will definitely be interesting to see how it plays out. I personally think they could come down, they could also go up. Both are in the conversation for the Big12 Championship game(and maybe even playoffs). But Utah, KState, Oklahoma State, and Arizona(are they still good?) are also in the conversation. It’s also possible Kansas and/or Iowa State drops a game or two they shouldn’t.
I’m leaning towards tickets being cheaper later though. It’s a pretty big stadium. [Reply]
