When you get down inside the 20-yard line, he commanded a respect level that could've made scoring touchdowns easier. Moore doesn't give you that at all. Again, he can only contribute out of the slot and even then, he seems only good against man coverage. It's such a limited skill set.

The Chiefs don't do that. Thats not how they win in the RZ.

We've had the biggest baddest ass TE who should theoretically be able to do that for years and they've done it 4 times.

I think Mahomes trusted Ross to do it and woulda happily tossed him fade balls when one-on-one.

And even if he didn't, I still see way more use in him than Moore.
