You know he's coming back, guess we're running it back...

Dudes on the Steelers PS for crying out loud, how good could he possibly be?
Played well when he got starts in Philly, having every bit as good of a season in '21 as MVS has ever had. He's also 4 years younger than MVS, so if he catches on well he could be a guy you bring back. He started games in '22 and in '23 for PHI but a hamstring kept him out of 7 games in '23. Also can play some STs.

He's not a savior but I'd rather see him at just 26 than a 30 year old MVS that will never be better.

Look, I was as ready as anybody to move on from MVS, but bringing him back now is a great vibes move. If Veach and Reid want him, I want him. The good, the bad, I'll take it all. Like Juju and Kareem balling out, it's almost too perfect. ESPECIALLY if he can add a layer of pain to us fucking the Bills again.

Mahomes will have a say as well I’m sure.

If our Holy Trinity want MVS, I’m good with it.

Can people stop using Moore as a reason to sign MVS? The worst player possible shouldn't the baseline of an acquisition.

Kareem and Juju were very productive when they were with us previously though. This isn't the same situation.

MVS very productive in 4 Playoff wins across 2022 and 2023. You arguably don’t win against Cincinnati, Buffalo, Baltimore, & San Fran without major contributions from MVS.

Yet he inexplicably draws more hatred than The Shart, and I'll never understand that.

No matter how many times Frank got washed out of a play, people don't notice. They DO, however, notice dropped passes and missed communication between QB and WR. Both are epic fuckups, but one is more noticeable than the other due entirely to the position the guy plays, so fans key in on that guy.

Frank cost us a 1st and a giant sack of cash. MVS cost zero draft picks and a small fraction of what Frank's contract was. And then on top of that we had to listen to YEARS of apologetics for Frank's play, whereas people were pissed at MVS from day one.

Oh, and I know it's mostly coincidence, but I can't help but chuckle at our defense basically turning the corner and becoming elite the very season Shart leaves.

Frank Clark sets the edge better than MVS

MVS did some good stuff for us. If we can’t do any better to add some depth to our WR room, we should add him. It’s cheap. He knows the system. He can stretch the field, even if he’s not a reliable receiver and occasionally, he has been a reliable receiver. So why not.

How about the second worst player being the baseline? Cause MVS is better than Hardman

One thing that is lost on many of the MVS detractors is how much intelligence he has. With the game on the line at 4 & 1 in the superbowl in overtime. Who was the guy who walked up to Reid and Pat and suggested the play that ultimately kept the drive alive and won us the superbowl? Yep it was MVS who told them to run the play that saw Pat keep the ball and run. It's just like when Travis told Pat what he was seeing during the epic "13 seconds" drive against the Bills. This kind of stuff matters when the rubber meets the road ya'll. It's deeper than just numbers being put up. And that's what seperated the Pats from others during their run. They were smarter than other teams.

Very productive? He had just two games with over 38 yard and averages just 35 yards per playoff game with 1 game being a clear outlier and doing some heavy lifting for that average. We just grade him on a child's scale so his performances look better than they actually are.
