Denver fans complaining about the officiating. When did this become the norm? When a team loses, they/their fans simply claimed it was "rigged." [Reply]

In every close game, you're gonna have calls and non-calls that piss off both sides. Just part of the game in a sport with subjective officiating. If a team gets blown out by 30 points, that will eliminate the ref complaints. [Reply]

Maybe he just mis-hit the ball, like a golf shot. Even the best pro golfers have some truly WTF terrible shots at times. It happens. [Reply]

fans of other teams actually want the rules to be changed to make any penalty legal against the Chiefs only and flag the Chiefs for things that aren't penalties
We are hated more than the Patriots ever were at this point and I think it's awesome [Reply]

If he was hitting it with a club, I could see a little more variance; I'd like to think he could put one on the fairway when he absolutely HAS to. [Reply]

Did he slip with the plant foot? That's an aspect that can really screw up the kick. [Reply]

Denver almost 2 full more days of rest, and they were playing their Superbowl.
It's that simple. And this is the time of the season where the team might hit a wall. 15 straight wins. That was a physical game. Hard hits everywhere. [Reply]

You read that a lot around here. Every game has blown calls, bottom line, Denver had a great shot of winning the game and the special teams for KC saved the day. [Reply]

I saw mentions of the refs after the game and that's the only thing that came to mind... there was an illegal contact(?) call on a Broncos safety on a 3rd down and I don't think they every showed a replay.... and then maybe one or two other plays, but the replays were very clear on those.
I don't remember any of the typical late-game calls that anyone could point to this time, so it felt like I had missed some big non-call they were whining about or something. :-) [Reply]

My general feeling is that Chris Jones is held on every single play by the other team, and it rarely gets called. Screw the Chief haters out there. [Reply]
