Ah...
To your point though, it is a plot hole - or if not a hole, then something that has yet to be revealed. We see in Rey's vision in Maz's basement, Ren and presumably the students that he took with him after they torched Luke's new Jedi training facility. Where did they go? Where are they now? I'm not going to call it a hole, as there is still one movie to go, but I hope this gets answered in the next one. [Reply]

After what they did to Snoke I fully expect them to just all blow up off screen. [Reply]
Lots of vitriol in this thread. Not even sure where to jump in.
As has been previously noted, the whole hyperspace bomb thing seems too easy. You could take out a fleet of star destroyers with handful of crappy old freighters if they were equipped with hyperdrives. I guess it's one of those things we just shouldn't think about too much, like the transporters in Star Trek.
And speaking of Star Trek, what the fuck was up with Snoke's chamber? It seriously reminded me of a planet scene from TOS. [Reply]

Completely.
Like, it would have been LESS believable than Anakin's turn.
It's obvious now where her commitments lie.
Well, to write that you had to skew her subconscious showing her delusions of pain, and separation from reality. It have to be a schizophrenic acid trip in carbonite all orchestrated by Snoke [Reply]

Furthermore, what if Rey's parents were abusive and she has a mental block because of it. Snoke then exploits that or remake her memories to show said emotional distress to create a dissociative personality. Like the CIA term concerning torture which is everyone breaks. It would also show Snoke' s mastery of psychological influence powered by the Dark Side. [Reply]
