Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

I am sure his highlight film will always be much better playing in shorts, throwing bombs, with no pass rush in his face. Live games- not so much.
Yes. Matt Flynn got paid starter money because he threw 6tds in a game, The Patriots got a 2nd round pick for Cassel, Kolb, etc. The Chiefs gain absolutely nothing by rushing Mahomes. That's why this is a great situation. Play him when he's ready [Reply]

I agree, I don't want Mahomes playing until the staff thinks he is ready. I'm just not sure how the trade rules operate with guys who are in a contract year under this CBA.
I guess they could probably pull the Cassel deal and make it a sign and trade before FA, but I just can't envision Bray being worth a damn. Hopefully we don't have to find out. [Reply]

I'm somewhat intrigued to see how Bray does if he ever gets a chance to play.
His arm is live as fuck and even though he isnt very smart, he's had 4 years to learn the system and the NFL.
Even for a guy that's not very bright, that's a lot of time to learn and the team has invested a lot of time and resources in the guy. Another thing in Brays favor is he was extremely young when the Chiefs signed him as an UDFA, so even with 4 years (this being his 5th offseason) the guy is still only 25. [Reply]
He might be a dumbass off the field, but he scored about the same on the wonderlic as Mahomes, and outstayed "cerebral" quarterbacks like Murray and Hogan. [Reply]
