Veach has already brought in more young talent without free agency and the draft then Elway has in two offseasons.
You don't know if Veach can draft or not and you'll never know because Andy is calling the shots now.
The Chiefs FO was much better 12 months ago. [Reply]

Well yeah, he can draft . He just can't draft a QB, or Ol or RBs or defense. Other than that he's proven to be somewhat solid other than the TE position. [Reply]
The year he drafted Lynch (which was the best choice in a sea of bad options) he also drafted Adam Gotsis, Justin Simmons, Andy Janovich, and Riley Dixon.
His only bad draft was 2013 and everyone not picking #1 overall had a bad draft that year. [Reply]

Without even looking up the '16 draft I can tell you that Chris Jones was on the board when he took Lynch. Fail. [Reply]

I was talking about QB's. His choices were trade a 1st for Bradford, trade a 3rd for Kaepernick, give Brock $72M, or draft Lynch. Every single person on CP would've done the same thing. [Reply]

Well, except Elway actually did try to offer Osweiler that contract. He just told you guys to fuck off. [Reply]

They wound up starting Siemian anyways, so it wasn't like the Lynch pick was an absolute must. [Reply]

If Veach is in control of player personnel, why does the media give Reid credit for the Smith trade? [Reply]

They had to draft a QB in the first. Just like they have to this year. The great thing about this year is Elway has a ton of good choices. It will be almost impossible for Kubiak and Elway to miss on a QB this year. [Reply]
