Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I thought it was pretty standard for star athletes to have clauses in their contracts that prohibit them from risky behavior or hobbies as a way for teams to have an out if they cripple themselves (as Big Ben nearly did). [Reply]

It's not too much to fucking ask. Pat can still play golf and baseball. He can go to the Y and play games of HORSE with little kids and old men if he really needs to satiate his need to play basketball.
He can also play videos games, work out and train, eat ketchup, read a book, have sex with his girlfriend, and go bowling.
He's not in fucking prison, for fuck's sake. It's a part of his job. What's next? Are these twitter tards going to declare violations of human rights when supermodels are forbidden from eating doughnuts and going to McDonald's? [Reply]

Yea Cris Carter mentioned something like this. He said it’s very common for players to have stuff like that put in their contract [Reply]
In preparing to give Patrick Mahomes a franchise QB contract, GM Brett Veach says the process really began a year ago to begin structuring the salary cap to prepare for it.
