The deadline is still two weeks away. Patience is key here.

No shit. But it's nice to shut that dumb shit down now.

Tua is not a good QB without Hill, and they just paid Tua, so Hill isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Not until they give up on Tua. Maybe in 2027.

It would make sense if tua was shut down for good and they had to negotiate an settlement. Say, $100m. But with Tua returning (and I seriously can’t understand why he would) then yeah there’s no incentive for them to move him

It was evident weeks ago he intended to return with week 7 or 8 being likely games. The Cardinals are a perfect return game as well.

Tua is returning because the Dolphins owner will try to wiggle out of paying him. If he can manage to stick around for 14 more months before quitting, he gets an extra $50 million in his pocket. This isn’t Jordan Love or Jared Goff who got $80 million signing bonuses earlier this year. Tua got $40 million this year. He might as well stick around a bit longer to get the extra $50 million next year.

But for those of you dreaming big, say Miami did trade Hill to KC. What do you think KC's odds of threepeating? And on a related note, what do you think Vegas would think KC's odds would be?

Of course, not very likely to find out.

I do hope BV finds a willing trade partner to bring somebody in. I imagine CP will find it more significant than Vegas.
Winning the 2025 Super Bowl should not be the goal right now, during mid-season. The goal should be to improve the offense, and having an all-time great WR would definitely help.

We don't even know if there's a willing trade partner yet. Can't pay a "tax" that doesn't exist.

Regular Season
Diontae Johnson
Xavier Worthy
Juju Smith-Schuster
Demarcus Robinson OR Deandre Hopkins
Justin Watson
Mecole Hardman

Post-Season
Diontae Johnson
Xavier Worthy
Hollywood Brown
Demarcus Robinson OR Deandre Hopkins

This gives us buffer if someone goes down again.

You think Veach is going to trade for TWO receivers?

I think he Should.

Once the trade deadline passes, we're left with what we've got.

- We can't count on Juju to be healthy.
- We can't guarantee that Brown will be back and fully integrated in the playoffs.
- Skyy Moore is Hitler
- Justin Watson and Mecole Hardman are JAGs.
- Remigio and Ross are JAGS at best.

That leaves Worthy, who does not have the body type to sustain 10-15 targets a game.

This year we have a chance to do something that has never been done, and I think it's important that we eliminate as much risk as possible while we still can.
