Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow were his QB's. Denver also had a gaping hole at DT and many people thought they should draft Nick Fairley and Marcell Dareus (I was a Dareus fan). Also, Von Miller was thought to be a bad fit for John Fox's 4-3 defense and was some people considered him a "workout warrior".
Teams like Tennessee, Jax, and Minnesota passed on Tyron Smith, JJ Watt, Robert Quinn, Mike Pouncey, and Ryan Kerrigan to draft Locker, Gabbert, and Ponder. If Elway was as bad as you guys thought, he could've easily done that.

Too bad you don't have the second pick this year. [Reply]
Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield considers the Giants an "ideal situation."
"Throwing the ball to Engram, Shep and Odell wouldn’t be too bad," said the Heisman Trophy winner. "Being there, that’s a big-time franchise. The spotlight, I think I thrive on that. I think that would be an ideal situation." Mayfield was planning to sit down with the Giants at last week's Senior Bowl but that meeting never materialized. Eli Manning will likely remain the starter in 2018, though there's still a good chance the Giants will end up drafting a quarterback with the No. 2 pick. [Reply]

Sorry he had to rub your nose in the fact that Baker Mayfield just wants to blow smoke up the asses of the teams with high draft picks that may draft him. [Reply]
