Patrick Mahomes is going to have a lot of fun throwing to Skyy Moore. Wins right off the line with great hands. Lots of smiles in Kansas City.

I agree with a lot that has been said about this game. You could see the trust after the scramble drill with Mahomes and it was awesome! Watching our rookies come up big against a divisional foe that killed us the first half will be an awesome memory!

I also agree with preferring MVS not being out there on 3rd down. I keep waiting for him to blow up, but in the small sample size he seems like another hardman.

With the exception of Kinnard and Johnson, every draft pick has made an impact at some point this year.

Some inconsistencies which you expect, but damn. This class. That’s how you pay the best QB in the game AND field a competitive roster.

Burt’s drafting and Andy’s player development should keep the talent pipeline going via comp picks.

It boggles the mind that he caught that 3rd down at midfield but biffed 2 punts.
His inexperience was exploited by opposing ST coaches. They had their punters practicing different types of pints with different rotations that Skyy had never seen before.

Like, remember when Dustin Colquitt was our left footed punter and quite a few PRs muffed his punts because of the rotation leading the ball to be where they didn’t expect it to be? That’s what Skyy wasn’t prepared for.

That has very little to do with catching a pass (unless it’s one of Pats airbenders) and Skyy only dropped 4 passes in 3 years in college. His hands are as good as anyone’s.

Is it too soon to compare him to Jerry Rice?

He's a combination of Wes Welker, Steve Smith, and the Prophet Muhammad. A Jihad on your secondary.

He looked to be relying too much on his hands when receiving punts earlier in the year. Makes sense considering how sure handed he is.

Skyy Moore with a super impressive game vs LAC this week

- Understands the cover (2-man) and the leverage the DBs want
- Attack vertically (DB wants to trail) to settle DB's feet
- Pressure step into the leverage (outside)
- Quick cross-over w/ arm-over
- Attacks ball w/ hands pic.twitter.com/Vz95MQV97v

Made a few nice catches intocontact as well. Still what stands out the most is how he understands a DB's leverage.

1st - S is responsible deep, show vertical threat leave space to work to SL

2nd - CB funneling to the inside (playing hard outside leverage) feint out, break in pic.twitter.com/hGzbd1m0Y4

Moore almost got loose on a couple big Deep Over routes as well.

Pressure does just enough on both to force Mahomes to pull the throw down but Moore is getting the reads down on these Deep Overs. pic.twitter.com/lH6M0vezIQ

3x1 with Moore on the backside iso'd up.

Really would like to see a few looks his way on something other than a 1st down Slant. pic.twitter.com/SOyBTxHH2k

Man, he could've had a true breakout game with better protection on those two deep routes.

Skyy is the limit for this kid in the slot. They can't touch that stutter and sharp break. He puts them on skates.

Patrick has his safety blanket, Travis Kelce. Skyy has his foot in the door of earning Patrick's trust in the samd way Juju has. It takes time, this kid is growing in his craft before our eyes. Those big mits catch everything.

This is exactly what he was advertised to be. Sure hands, route recognition, solid athleticism and the ability to take attention away from everyone else by working the middle of the field.

Mecole Hardman ain’t doing that folks. And neither has MVS.

In his first game as a starter he fucking COOKED Derwin James. He burnt his sorry ass. He caught multiple passes that converted 3rd downs, caught another very difficult pass and ended up catching 5/6 targets with the 1 miss being a bad throw behind him.

He was propped as a high ceiling pro ready player. Well this is exactly what that looks like guys.

Andy needs to get him in there now bc he’s clearly better than Justin Watson and Mecole Hardman as a true WR. Dude is gonna be so good for us, especially with mismatch routes in the middle of the field

Skyy Moore is going to be a dependable #2 WR, you can see all the makings of a solid chain mover that gets it done.

Over reaction planet at it's finest.

He had a nice game. Nothing spectacular. Nothing jaw dropping. He got to where he needed to be and caught the ball when Mahomes put it on him. Hopefully he can build on it.

Blegh. Why you gotta be a hater? Folks are excited he's finally showing something other than muffed punts and bad routes and you gotta be like 'oh, it's noting special bwbanwanwba'. Bruh, who gives a shit? Let folks be happy he's finally showing up in a good way.
