- Early career production - Dynamic threat downfield & after the catch - Elite speed & start-stop ability - Fluid mover w/ good route running chops - Ball tracking is A+
Not entirely sure why the vibe isn't higher when talking about him in the WR class. pic.twitter.com/dv3JjdyZgh
I'll write something fresh about Worthy tomorrow morning now that he's a Chief to lay out how he's more than speed, but for now here's an excerpt from article linked in the below tweet... https://t.co/EcW7QtUrFFpic.twitter.com/811ahCEfMS
He's doing great for a rook. Just improve a little every week and by the playoffs he'll be a factor. He was a factor today early in the game. We good! [Reply]
I wonder if they drafted McConkey they'd use him the way the Chargers are. Cause he has more yards already than Worthy is on pace for. We are so bad at developing and utilizing young wide receivers. [Reply]

Man McConkey dropped a wide open 3rd down conversion like 20 yards down field near the sideline a half hour ago.
The overreactions on here, even after these last several years, are just incredible. [Reply]

So do you disagree that they could be utilizing Worthy more and that the way they develop WRs is questionable?
FFS, even this year Rashee Rice was basically the slant and screen guy with his ADOT of 5 yards. Do you think he's only capable of running routes under 10 yards or do you think we underutilized him the past season plus? Cause I think he's far more capable than just catching 5 yards passes and hoping to get YAC after. Just my opinion though. I'm not saying we should have drafted McConkey instead. Just pointing out yet another rookie WR who gets to actually play and be a real factor every week while we have to always say "he's just a rookie" "Reid's playbook" "WRs in this offense blah blah blah". They'd use McConkey like they're using Worthy.
Worthy was running good routes and then should have had another long TD, but Pat puts it too close to the sidelines and then they go from force feeding him to not looking his way the rest of the game.

Yeah the whole Reid's play book is impossible to learn in one year is such a cop out. Andy just clearly trusts vets over rookies for the most part. We have no trouble starting FA WRa there first year here and they have to learn the whole play book. [Reply]
