For those tracking Pro Day "winners," #Georgia WR Ladd McConkey definitely makes the list.
His 3.97 short shuttle would've been No. 1 (all positions) at the Combine. His 6.72 three-cone would've been fourth-best. Looked great during position drills too.

I don't think he's making it out of the top 20 man, I just don't. [Reply]
I don't think the Hollywood Brown signing will change any of the plans KC had. If there is a WR that Veach and Reid really like that is within trading distance or drops to 32, then Brown isn't stopping them from going after that guy. Brown is on a 1 year deal and typically first year WRs don't do a whole lot under Reid, so whoever the rookie may be would naturally slide into the 2nd WR spot and take over for Brown. [Reply]

Does it change the type of WR you want KC to draft? [Reply]
Went on a BTj binge today. Really think he’s the bust of the group. Tools are there but a lot missing. Generally looks awkward at times. Got owned by Alabama.
I’d put Mitchell and worthy above him in pecking order.By a good margin. [Reply]

I've noticed PFF has him scored relatively average considering his accomplishments. [Reply]

I’ve said this before, maybe you saw. But people need to think about the fact he has QB1 and WR1 in any other draft on his team. A lot of his TDs came from Daniels great ball placement. He’s not the greatest YAC. He looks fluid, yes, but not shifty. And for his size he’s not that good at contested catches. At least from what I saw.
I don’t think he’d be a bust if he had Mahomes and the offense we have around him, because it’s similar to the level of relative eliteness he had at LSu. But all in all, Worthy and Mitchell could actually be safer picks, especially for year 1. [Reply]
