As much as we were happy to see him get some confidence, it's just as big that Pat and Andy gained confidence in him.
Pat was looking his way often on 3rd down, and it worked every time.
Absolutely huge for the stretch run.
At the very least, I fully expect this guy to play the majority of 3rd (passing) downs.
Does feel like a big shift and the trust point is THE point. I know one performance doesn't mean he's made it, but maaaan I'm feeling smug today. Do we know if he'll do it week in week out, maybe not. Do we now know he CAN do it - yep, and I f**ing knew it!!!!! [Reply]
Kid had a solid game. Made two clutch catches in the 2nd half. Did have one bad route where he didn't turn in time to play the ball but overall was excellent. I can see him have this type of role going forward. A WR3 used in key moments in the game. [Reply]
I truly don't ever want to see him fielding punts though. Couldn't we just not have anyone back there? I'd rather lose an additional 10-20 yards of field position than risk a fumble once every handful of punts. [Reply]

That scramble drill was a thing of beauty. Skyy ran with mahomes beautifully. That’s the kind of trust and chemistry the two need and will build together. [Reply]
It boggles the mind that he caught that 3rd down at midfield but biffed 2 punts.
Toub has said that Skyys problem with punts is catching them low. Once he learns to catch them high he’ll be fine. Still wish and feel we had a better option at PR though [Reply]

If the Chiefs don’t win it all, we know who to blame.
What if he needs to continue drinking every day. Can't be just game days, or the joojoo is broken.
DJ, you don't want that on your conscience do you? [Reply]

I still expect something bad to happen on every play where Moore touches the ball. It will probably take a year of no fumbles and no bad decisions before I relax when the ball goes his way.

Not sure what he had to do more last night. Came up big on some huge 3rd downs. Showed he can free lance a little when they went into scramble drill. Ran good routes against one of best safeties in the game. Someone else said this but hes gaining MAHOMES trust. Even if thats by baptism with fire, thats a great thing. [Reply]
