Gettleman seems like the kind of GM who'd draft Barkley. The Panthers loved Fournette and Barkley is better than he is.
Shurmur on Pick#2: We shouldnt feel like we gotta pick a certain player. I was made aware of it today, the last time the @Giants had the 2nd pick, they picked LT & last time they had 3rd pick they picked @CarlBanksGIII , 2 franchise changing picks & they dont play QB @GiantsViewspic.twitter.com/hPEy9JICPX
Lol at KnowShit. You're right. Mayfield and Rosen will both be available at 5. The problem is, they will both be major reaches at that point. At least Allen is. He should go in the bottom of the first round. A lot of mock drafts have Mayfield going top 5. That's insane. Someone is going to draft a bust when they draft Mayfield. I hope that it's the Donks. And while I'm on the subject of high draft picks, are we really going to see a running back go top 5? Just because it worked out for the Cowboys when they drafted Zeke high doesn't mean that it's a good idea. Good running backs can be found all through the draft. Look where we drafted Charles and Hunt. Ware was picked from Seattle's trash heap. No way should a team use a top 5 pick on that position. [Reply]
