Not only that but they just happened to bounce the right way. Just as fluky as the two picks. Peters pick six...now that's a legit made play. Not a lucky tip or bounce right to some chode. [Reply]

Two of those teams were in the playoffs last year and the cards were stacked against Denver going into KC. The Chiefs had everything going in their favor leading up to that game. [Reply]

I repeat, 2 winless teams and us. They have played cream puff schedule so far. [Reply]

Bullshit. It took FIVE fluke bounces to not blow you off the field. Week one Steve Smith dropped a winning TD pass. Denver did nothing to stop that. [Reply]

So Peters' pick wasn't a fluke, but the two INT's we had were... Got it. [Reply]

If doesn't matter obviously, but it really should have been a 27-17 win for Chiefs.
That is why I am not impressed with Denver. 3 below average teams, 3 close wins.
The Ravens aren't a below average team despite their record. They've lost some key players. Then we went on the road and beat two teams in their home openers.....that's actually pretty great. I don't know. I don't think Denver is going to win the Super Bowl...or even go deep n the playoffs...but we're doing pretty good right now. [Reply]
Any turnover that falls the way of KC's defense = stellar play made by KC player.
Any turnover that falls Denver's way = cheating or luck or fluke or any combo of the 3
Charles leads the league in fumbles by a non-QB (IIRC) over the last 2 years, yet his fumbles were still flukes.
I think most Denver fans will admit that after the way they played in week 1 and 2 on offense, yes it feels lucky to be 3-0. However, that defense created the bulk of that 'lucky feeling'. They weren't just standing there when Charles strolls by untouched and drops the ball.
They helped create that luck... but really, carry on. [Reply]
