Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.

Damn good shit man! Did you send on those 2-4oz glass bottles? [Reply]
I’m mainly a scotch drinker,(well other than primarily beer), but branching in to Bourbon. Will check out some of these. Got a bottle of BT a couple weeks ago for 28. Not bad. [Reply]

Who said something about it being illegal to ship alcohol USPS but with UPS is not illegal, just not “allowed?” Which is why they only ship alcohol with UPS. [Reply]

For rye, I'd go with willett 4 year as my favorite. Pikesville is also solid. on the more affordable end, high west double rye is great for about $30 where I shop.
I started as a scotch fan and it it took me a little while to get into bourbon but now i prefer bourbon. If you're trying to get into bourbon from scotch, I'd suggest starting with low rye or even no rye bourbon like makers mark. Or try a bourbon finished in sherry casks like belle meade sherry cask finish or port casks like angels envy. If you're looking for the taste of a smoky, peaty scotch, then there's not much in bourbon that's similar.
Since you're asking about rye though, you may prefer the higher rye bourbons. Try four roses single barrel, a store pick barrell proof is even better. High west American prarie is also good. [Reply]
