OMG. I'm at the Melting Pot enjoying some delicious fondue to celebrate the game. Guy sees I'm a Chiefs fan and walks up to my table. Ok. "How'd you enjoy the game?" I tell him it was great. And I really hope we can play the Patriots. He responds, "Yeah, but Rivers really deserves it." Deserves?! I push back. It's then I learn he's a Raider fan.
But then he says, "I bet if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, Mahomes holds out next year for more money." It was then I told him to get away from me as I didn't need to hear his delusions. A second year player like Mahomes holding out on his rookie contract?! This is what Raiders fans are hoping for.
